so who finished the challenge???

The year's coming to an end, so I guess it's time to see who's finished the What's in a Name 2 challenge. If you have finished, please leave a comment saying so. It would also be nice to hear which was your favorite read from the challenge. :)

To be entered for the end of challenge prize, you must (by January 1, 2010):

1. finish all your books for the challenge (obviously this is an honor thing--I won't be checking up on you)

and

2. leave a comment on THIS post saying that you finished.

*****
This has been a really busy year for me, and I apologize that I have not been the best challenge host. I'm afraid that next year is only going to be more busy, so I'm afraid I just can't commit to hosting for a third year. I really love this challenge, though, so I hope that someone will feel the urge to pick it up and run with it...

Thanks to everyone who has participated this year and last!

Happy reading!

I finished! After looking at my books read list, I managed to finish without even trying to. My favorite book I read for this challenge was Keep Your Mouth Shut and Wear Beige by Kathleen Gilles Seidel, which was my first read of the year!

I finished, and just wanted to say thanks for hosting - your challenge is the one that introduced me to the whole concept of hosted group reading challenges, and I had a lot of fun this year with yours and the others I signed up for. So, thanks!

My favorite read from this challenge was probably Stella Gibbons's Cold Comfort Farm.

I finished, too! Thanks for hosting, I enjoyed this challenge. My favorite book for this was Fool by Christopher Moore.

I have finished. Like last year this challenge was a lot of fun and I managed to read some books that had been languishing on my TBR pile. My favorite book was Twilight of Avalon by Anna Elliot.

I am sad to hear that you won't be able to host the challenge next year, but it's understandable - some times life just gets in the way!

I finished in September. I loved this challenge as much as I did last year. Thanks for hosting it!

My favorite read from this challenge was My Hands Came Away Red by Lisa McKay.

I finished the challenge way back in February! It was my favorite challenge, so I dove right in.

Favorites: would have to be a tie between The Night Watch by Sarah Waters and The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent.

I didn't write reviews of most of these. My bad. One of my goals for 2010 is to consistently write reviews.

Thanks for a great challenge, look forward to the next one!

I have finished reading, but not reviewing! :-0

The best read was Brideshead Revisited.

I finished and had lots of fun! I can't decide if my favorite was Buttertea at Sunrise by Britta Das or From Butt to Booty by Amber Kizer.
Thanks for the challenge.

I'm almost done...I have just one more to go and that is for a book with a medical condition in the title. I'm hoping Her Fearful Symmetry will qualify for that as there are many fears that are considered medical conditions.

I finished it too. Here's my wrap-up post.

I can't really pick a favorite, maybe Phantom Limb (body part) or The Heretic's Daughter (relative).

I finished! Favorite may have been Over the Moat, but others were good, too.

I finished all but Body Part. The last book I read for the challenge was for Building, The Haunting of Hill House.

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't hosting the challenge next year. I completely understand and am thrilled that you did it these past two years. It won't be the same without you!

Hello, and greetings of the season!
I finished the challenge as well, and did it with all Australian books. You can see which ones they were at http://anzlitlovers.wordpress.com/challenges/the-what%e2%80%99s-in-a-name-challenge/ or http://tinyurl.com/ydlz35d
Thank you so much for organising this challenge again this year, this is one of my favourite challenges because it's so flexible. I read some brilliant books that I might never have found otherwise.
Best wishes to you and all you love for the festive season,
Lisa in Melbourne Australia (ANZ LitLovers)

I finished! I finished! Actually, I have been finished for a little while, but never got around to reviewing the last few books. I will miss the challenge if it doesn't get picked up by someone else next year, but I totally understand the "too busy" thing! I almost volunteered to take it on when I read your post, but just can't in good conscience put another thing on my plate! You have been a great host and I thank you for creating such a fun challenge!

I forgot to post favorite book...probably "Princess Academy" by Shannon Hale. I am sure you have read it, but if you haven't, you should!

I finished (if "dead" counts as a medical condition) - just didn't get here to comment in time. 8( Nor did I write reviews, an activity I hate. I guess my favourite would be Night of the Fox, by Jack Higgins, which I've now read two or three times.
