Hi Annie!
I'm starting with the time category reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Suspense, romance, unconditional irrevocable love, blood thirsty vampires...
Happy Reading :)
2009 Reading Challenge
TheChicGeek--
That is a great book!

Started and finished this on New Year's Day!
read this somewhere in that New Years' Week... it's a YA book... but hey, that's what I spend my time reading usually!
Hi Annie! Just finished Twilight. Fabulous read. I loved it. Now I'm on to the next category. Fun Challenge.

Happy Reading!
I just realised that Breaking Dawn would do very nicely for this category. Twilight was read at the end of last year - I just couldn't wait.
Very brief review written on my blog.
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day might actually be stretching it a little for this category, because I believe it's meant to be a particular time of day, not the whole day, but if you read the book you'll see it makes sense. Miss P is a dowdy, old governess who's out of work and looking for some stability in her life, and she happens across Miss La Fosse, a flighty Hollywood starlet, who takes Miss P under her wing for a day and changes her life forever.
I've heard it referred to One of the Lost Cinderella Stories, and that couldn't be more true! I enjoyed it very much.
I just finished my 2nd book for this years challenge and thourougly enjoyed it. My review of Ken Follett's Night Over Water is up on my Magic Bookcase site.
Hi!
This is a great book by Nora Robers as usual!! It has love and mystery, what could more could you ask for! Have a great day!!
Sherrie
4th book for this challenge is First Dawn by Judith Miller. Really enjoyed the book. It's a look at how the early settlers had to deal with unscrupulous people as well as enduring the hardships the land presented.
I read THE HOUR I FIRST BELIEVED by Wally Lamb and hope the word HOUR is OK for time of day? If not, I am currently (MOAN) reading TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer for my book club because they chose it. I only moan as every middle school girl I teach is reading it for two years so I am tired of it. IF the Wally Lamb book counts, you can find my review here. http://bookinwithbingo.blogspot.com/2009/02/bingos-bookin-review.html#comments THANKS :D
Hi Annie & Debi,
Keeping to my resolution to choose only Australian titles, I've now read 2 from the Profession category: The Zookeeper's War by Steven Conte and The Lieutenant by Kate Grenville, and have just finished The Evening of the Holiday by Shirley Hazzard.
Lisa in Oz
I've just read Teatime for the Traditionally Built -- teatime is a good time of day, I think! :)
I read Elin Hilderbrand's Nantucket Nights for my "time of day" read. My review is here:

My pick for this catagory is:
Dead Until Dark: Southern Vampire Mysteries volume 1, by Charlaine Harris
I didn't write a review for this book, so I'll just post my thoughts here.
I really liked this first book. It had mystery, romance, suspense, vampires, and all the makings for the perfect book. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves vampires, or is interested in the genre.
For this category I read Joy in the Morning by Betty Smith, which I ended up loving. It's about newlyweds in 1927. Here's my review:

I just finished my Time of Day book: Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian: Or the Evening Redness in the West. My review is linked, but be warned that although I liked the book, it was really gruesome & I talk about that a bit in my review.
This is also my last book for the challenge. Thanks for hosting; it's been really fun!
