    I just finished my first book for this years challenge - The Story of Doctor Dolittle. It was a fun read and I'm glad this challenge prompted me to take it off the shelf and read it.

    Happy Winter Break, Annie! I just left a review of The Last Templar and am about to start on one for The Zookeeper's Wife. I read four books in five days while in Florida--a wonderful change from my usual rushed pace.

    Profession was easy depending on what you classify as a profession :D
    I did an easy one though. It is called THE HOUSEKEEPER AND THE PROFESSOR by Yoko Ogawa. It is about an Asian lady who is the housekeeper to an elderly professor and she has a son. The professor only has 80 min. of memory and although he is a brilliant mathematician, each day, each hour or two is new to him. The housekeeper is the only one, and the boy, who relate to him and he can relate to. I think it was a very good story. I reviewed it for Curled Up With a Good Book and here is where they posted it http://www.curledup.com/housprof.htm I think that if all mine I entered qualify, then I have met the challenge. If so, what is the next step as I am still new at this. Thanks for letting me play, Annie! Great Challenge!

    As I said at the "Relative" reviews: I feel like I've been on a long (and at times arduous) expedition with The Mapmaker's Wife!

    Not to worry: I've read another book with a profession in the title so I am not cheating ;) I just can't get myself to write a review (in English) for it.
